A Funeral Home Prayer Service will be held on Monday evening, January 29th at 7 PM for Ada (Ross) Bradley.
Mrs. Bradley, a daughter of the late Alexander T. and Mary Alice (Jessamine) Ross, passed away in the Meadow Green Nursing Facility, Waltham after a period of declining health. Ada was 93.
Ada was born in Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada. Her family moved to Watertown when she was 4 years of age. A graduate of Watertown High School class of 1943. She worked for 30 years starting with the Northeast Federal Savings Bank which later merged into Bank Boston. She retired at the age of 62 as the head teller of the Star Market Branch.
Ada was a long-standing member of the Church of the Good Shepard, Watertown. She also was an auxiliary member of he the Shutt detachment, Watertown. Also, she loved her dogs.
She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard E. Bradley. Devoted mother of Jane E. Bradley and companion Kenneth Bailey of Watertown and Keith D. Bradley and his wife Maria of Tyngsboro. Loving grandmother of Amanda and Alyssa Bradley & great-grandson Joseph. Dear sister of the late Joan Gould, Ronald Ross, Jean Perkins & Donald Ross. Also loved by nieces & nephews.
Visiting hours at the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home 270 Main St., Watertown on Monday Jan. 29, 2018 from 4-7 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 7 PM. Relatives & friends kindly invited.
Burial will be held at the family lot in the Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield at a later date.
