Ann P. (Murray) McSweeney

A Funeral Mass for Ann P. (Murray) McSweeney will be celebrated in St. Luke’s Church, Belmont on Tuesday May 1st, 2018 at 9 AM

Mrs. McSweeney passed away at the Wayside Hospice, Wayland on Sunday evening April 22, 2018 after a long period of declining health.  Ann was 77.

Ann was born in New Haven, Connecticut. She received her undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut University and a Masters’ degree in Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut University.   

She was a loving and compassionate first grade teacher for over 30 years in the Hull School System.       

Ann loved traveling and spent many vacations going to exotic places and interesting countries both in Europe and the Middle East.    At home, in her spare moments, she like to read and indulge herself in different  kinds of cooking.   

She Is the beloved wife of John “Jack” McSweeney.  Devoted daughter of the late John J. & Catherine (Keating) Murray.  Dear sister of the late Kathleen Murray & Elizabeth Owens. Loving aunt of Tara Lepro & John Owens and great aunt to Ava & Cavan Lepro. 

Funeral from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 8:00 am, followed by Funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Church, 132  Lexington St., Belmont at 9:00 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Visiting hours Monday from 4-8 PM.

Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
