Craig Alan Fix

Craig Alan Fix of Boston, Massachusetts passed away in his residence in the South End on Wednesday June 7th, 2017. He was 63. 

Craig was the loving son of his late father Robert Lewis Fix, andis survived his mother Lois B. (Brumm) Fix of Warr Acres, Oklahoma, his sons Aaron Fix and Sebastian Gold of Boston,his sister Marsha Hamel and her husband Bob of Howard, Colorado, his brother Douglas and his wife Sandra of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and other family and friends across the country.

Craig was born in Ames, Iowa and moved with his family around the Midwest before graduating from Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills, Illinois. He majored in Accounting at Oklahoma State University and moved east after college. He held many different vocations, working in accounting, natural foods distribution, a macrobiotic restaurant, real estate, and most recently carpentry and woodworking. He was a fun-loving, independent, and progressive person. He loved his work and was happiest when he was helping others.

Service will be at the Runge Funeral Home in Davenport, Iowa at noon on Friday, July 7, followed by a procession to Blue Grass Cemetery in Blue Grass, Iowa. In the meantime, Sebastian and Aaron will be hiking Mt. Monadnock on Father’s Day in his memory and invite anyone who knew and loved Craig to join them.
