Elena L. Barbuto

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Elena L. Barbuto in the Chapel of Little Sisters of the Poor, Somerville on Monday October 10, 2016 at 11 am.

Miss Barbuto, a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Mary Grace (Cafarella) Barbuto passed away at the Little Sisters of the Poor on Wednesday October 5, 2016 after a period of declining health. She was 90 years of age.

Born in Cambridge, she graduated from Cambridge High & Latin, class of 1941, Elena lived many years in Watertown before moving to Deland, FL.  She worked for Alpha Industries of Woburn, MA.  She was an avid reader, loved to cook and attended Mass daily.

Dear sister of Angelina and the late John Barbuto.  Loving aunt of Dianne Walsh, Jeannine Daly and the late Christine Barbuto.  Also loved by great nieces & nephews Nicholas Mikaila & Haylee Walsh and Kyle & Gillian Daly.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the chapel of the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave. Somerville, MA 02143 on Monday, Oct 10th at 11 am.  Relatives and friends kindly invited. Industries.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Elena’s memory may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
