Ernest P. Belkner, Jr.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown for Ernest P. Belkner, Jr.

Mr. Belkner passed way on Tuesday morning after a period of declining health. He was 91.

Ernest lived in Watertown, then Somerville, MA wth wife Viola (Pearl) and his family where he worked for the US Postal Service for 34 years. He had served in the Coast Guard and US Marines Corp. Ernest retired in 1988 and moved to Seabrook, NH where he enjoyed painting the 4 seasons, and especially seascapes. He was a member of the Seacoast Art Association as well as the Rockport Art Association. He loved his family and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.

He is pre-deceased by wife Viola (Pearl). He is survived by his 5 children, son John R Belkner his wife Elaine, grandson John Belkner, his wife Leslie great grandchildren Ian and Noah, grandson Zachary Belkner great grandson Cole, grandaughter Sarah Faria,her husband Brian, great grandchildren Ford and Pearl-- daughter Dale Gualtier her husband Bud, granddaughter Jodie Stewart,her husband Matthew great grandchildren Kayla Kobash and Tylor Cunningham--granddaughter Brandie Hourigan her husband Kevin great grandchildren Adrian, Cyerra and Gianna-  Son Mike Belkner his wife Linda granddaughter Laura Ehlis her husband Brian--Daughter Donna Lessard-  Son Christopher Belkner grandson Michael, granddaughter Megan and great granddaughter Mila. He is also survived by one brother Al Belkner.
