Mark Davidson

Mark Davidson, 63, of Watertown, MA and formerly of Bayside Queens, NY died on Friday, July 8, 2016. The son of Lawrence and Selma Davidson, brother of Scott Davidson, and the former spouse of Carol Davidson, he leaves behind an immense community of beloved friends and family.  He was educated in the public schools of New York and later attended Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. He went on to receive his BA from SUNY Buffalo.

Mark loved computers, and was previously employed as the Director of Information Technology at The New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Boston.  

A beautiful and eclectic friend and brother, Mark touched many lives with his kindness and compassion. He was an active and central member of various support groups in Mass and New Hampshire and a friend of Lois and Tony A. He was an avid sky diver, an animal lover, and he played an awesome hand of poker as well as the blues harmonica at open mic nights! One of Mark's greatest pleasures in life was making people laugh. We will miss him deeply.

He leaves a brother Scott and his wife Tish of Fremont, CA, their daughters Helen Colby and Susan Johannsen, and Mikey the Cat. He was predeceased by his beloved mother and father.

In lieu of a memorial service, a Celebration of Life gathering to honor all those whose lives have been touched by Mark and to share in his spirit will take place at the Golden Temple Restaurant, 1651 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA on Sunday, July 31st from 3 to 5pm.
