Miriam "Mickie" (Nazar) Dewar

A Funeral Mass for Miriam “Mickie” (Nazar) Dewar will be celebrated in the Church of St. Luke’s on Monday, April 25th at 9:00 am.

Mrs. Dewar, was a daughter of the late Vahe and Marian June (Bodley) Nazar. She passed away in her home on Wednesday evening after a period of declining health. She was 75.

She went to school at Gamaliel Bradford Senior High School (class of '59).  Was part of the Pep Club and Rally Committee.  She was an avid artist and made numerous wedding dresses and baptismal gowns.  She always was working on a sewing or embroidery project.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank G. Dewar, Esq. Beloved mother of Michael Dewar and his fiancé Keri of Medford, Randy Dewar and his wife Sue of Bellingham, Adam Nazar of Cumberland, RI, and Alex Nazaratian of Hopedale. She is survived by many grandchildren.

Funeral from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main Street, Watertown on Monday April 25, 2016 at 8:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Luke's, 132 Lexington St. Belmont at 9:00 AM.  Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM.
