Norman E. White

A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 14th, 2016 in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown at 12:00 noon for Norman E. White.

Norman, a son of the late John & Winifred (Musselwhite) White, passed away on Saturday July, 9, 2016 in his home .  He was 86.

Born in South Hampton, England, he grew up in Catford, England during the bombings of World War II.  In 1952 he and his wife Maria moved to Watertown. Norman was an avid hunter and shooter.  He worked as a house painter in  the Watertown area.  He served as an Auxiliary Police Officer  for the Watertown Police Department for over 25 years.  He also served in the US Army.

Beloved husband of the late Maria A. (Caira) White.  Devoted father of John D. White of Watertown.  Dear brother of Alan White & his wife Christine and Sheila Moore & her late husband Ronald both of England and his late brother  Jackie White.  Loving uncle of 10 nieces & nephews and 6 great nieces & nephews. Also survived by sister in-laws Bianca DelRaso of Watertown and Perina Gentile of Billerica.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 14, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. Watertown. Visiting hours from 10 am – 12 noon prior to the service. Relatives & friends kindly invited.
