Richard & I were classmates during high school. I lived on Main st. & we would meet & walk to school together. We were in Sr. Gemma's Senior class together. He asked me to our Senior Prom which & most gratefully accepted. I still have a photograph of him standing beside our lovely May Altar in our classroom that year. I had been writing to him in the last two years at the Asst. Living home after hearing that that is where he was living & sent him a photo of me & my husband. I was disappointed he did not attend our 50th class reunion. May he be resting in the Lord's Arms. Sincerely, Bette (Smith) Whelan
