Ronald H. Armstrong

A Funeral Service for Ronald H. Armstrong will be held on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown.

Mr. Armstrong, son of the late George H. Armstrong and Verna S. (Hobbs) Armstrong, passed away unexpectedly in Falmouth on Sunday evening.  Ronald was 72.

Ron was born in Cambridge, lived in Watertown, Needham and Hopkinton.  He graduated from Needham High School in 1963 and received a Bachelors in Engineering from Boston University in 1968.  He worked for Westinghouse, before becoming founder and CEO of Northeast Power Company.

Ron retired to his home in Falmouth. Ron’s greatest pleasure was being on his boat, fishing and cruising the waters of Cape Cod.

Ron is survived by his sister Cheryl L. Armstrong. He is also survived by close friends Eddy Andrade, Janet Galvin, Bruce & Judy Muldoon, Diane Sawicky Correra and cousins Randall & Pam Winsor.

A Funeral Service will be held at the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main Street, Watertown on Saturday February 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.

Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

Visiting hours Friday February 23, 2018 from 4 - 8 PM.
