Yvonne B. (Brodette) Giandomenico

A Funeral service will be celebrated in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral, Watertown on Wednesday, May 17th at 11 AM for Yvonne B. Giandomenico.

Mrs. Giandomenico, a daughter of the late Alpha Joseph Brodette and Marie Louise (Joubert) Brodette, passed away Thursday May 11th, in the Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham after a period of declining health. She was 95. Yvonne was born in Cambridge; and graduated from St. Our Lady of Pity School in Cambridge. She later moved to Watertown, were she was a pillar in the local community.  While living in Watertown, Yvonne worked as an assembler in the electronics industry.

She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Burns and Nicholas J. Giandomenico. Loving mother of Patricia A. Hunt & her husband William of Watertown and Deborah L. Duhamel & her husband Douglas of Brockton.  Loving sister of the late Rosemarie Stanley, Cecile I., Raymond, George “Pete”, & Alpha J. “Tibby” Brodette. Loving grandmother of John & Stephen Hunt, Cheryl Furtado, Kristen, Kerri, & Mark Duhamel. Loving stepmother of Linda Zahner & Nicholas Giandomenico. Doting great-grandmother of 6. Beloved family friend of Yvonne “Bizzy” Bernard.  Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. Watertown on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 11 am. Relatives & friends kindly invited.

Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.

Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
