A Funeral Mass for Mary F. Casey, 95, will be celebrated on Tuesday February 9, 2010, at 10:30 AM in the Sacred Heart Church 770 Mount Auburn Street Watertown.

Miss Casey, a daughter of the late John & Mary (Curran) Casey, was born in Co. Kerry, Ireland and attended local schools, before moving to London, England at age eighteen. After working in London for seven years, she came to Watertown in 1939, where she lived and worked until her passing. Miss Casey worked as an assembler for the Raytheon Corporation, retiring in the early 1960’s. Later she was a housekeeper at St. Theresa’s Rectory, Watertown.

Miss Casey’s life revolved around the Church. She was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Sodality, and attended Mass daily.

She is the dear aunt of Thomas J. of Watertown, John P. & Theresa F. both of Dorchester & Michael J. of Stoneham.

A Funeral will be held from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home in WATERTOWN SQUARE at 6 Riverside St. (cnr. of No. Beacon St.) Watertown on Tuesday at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 O’Clock in the Sacred Heart Church 770 Mt. Auburn St. Watertown. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment St. Leo’s Cemetery in Leominster. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Funeral Home handicapped accessible.
