A Funeral Mass for Josephine A. “Tedi” (Haskell) DiNardo will be celebrated on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 9 AM in the Church of Saint Camillus, 1185 Concord Turnpike, (Route 2), Arlington.
Mrs. DiNardo, a daughter of the late John N. and Josephine M. (Barry) Haskell, was born in East Boston, MA. She was a graduate of Brighton High School and has lived in Belmont since 1962. Mrs. DiNardo retired from McKesson and Robbins Pharmaceuticals in Boston, the company where she had met her husband over 62 years ago. Always on the go, she enjoyed playing tennis, line dancing and volunteering for many organizations and projects. Mrs. DiNardo, an active member of Saint Camillus Parish, was a member of the Madonna Queen National Shrine in East Boston. She was a Knight Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. Mrs. DiNardo died in the Mount Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, on Saturday, February 6, 2010, after an illness of several years.
She was the beloved wife for 62 years of Joseph A. DiNardo; devoted mother of Mark A. and his companion Julie Wanko of Woburn and Judith Ann Ruth of Danvers; dear sister of the late Henrietta E. Haskell, John N. Haskell, Jr., Helen O. Huling and Thomas Haskell. She was also loved by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Sat., Feb. 13, at 9 AM in the Church of St. Camillus, 1175 Concord Turnpike (Route 2), Arlington 02476. At her request burial services will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Please respect her wishes.
