A Funeral Mass for Mary Theresa (Connolly) O’Toole, 81, will be celebrated on Friday, June 11, 2010, in the Church of Saint Jude, Waltham.

Mrs. O’Toole, a daughter of the late John J. and Hannah (Heaphy) Connolly, was born in Ballyconneely, Co. Galway, Ireland. She was a graduate of the Dunloughan National School, moved to the United States in 1965 and settled in Watertown. Mrs. O’Toole, a former member of the Irish Society of Ottawa, was a member of the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann and a very active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 14, Watertown. Mrs. O’Toole had been a Group Leader at Honeywell in Brighton for 21 years retiring in December of 1988. She died on Sunday, June 6, 2010 in the Maristhill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waltham.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas O’Toole who died in January 1991; devoted sister Julia Higgins of London, Michael J. Connolly of Osterville, Peter A. Connolly of Ballyconneely, Co. Galway, Paul G. Connolly of Watertown and the late John F. Connolly and Ann McCann. Mrs. O’Toole was also loved by many nieces and nephews including the late Michael P. Connolly and Maureen E. Connolly. Many grandnieces and nephews also survive and love her.

The Funeral will be from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., on Rte. 20, Watertown, on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in the Church of St. Jude, 147 Main St., Waltham. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, June 10th from 4-8 PM in MacDonald, in the Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home on Main Street. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend.
