Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 for Mrs. Virginia Sullivan Stanley.  Mrs. Stanley was born in Watertown, a daughter of the late Walter S. and Minnie J. (Sergeant) Sullivan.  She grew up in Watertown and was a graduate of Watertown High School and Fisher Jr. College in Boston.  She had been a resident of Concord for the past 53 years.  She enjoyed antiquing, gardening, flea markets, yard sales and collecting Indian Jewelry.  She was a past Worthy Matron of the Watertown Chapter of the Eastern Star.   Mrs. Stanley died on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at her residence in Concord at the age of 88.

 

            She was the wife of the late Walter E. Stanley; mother of Robert E. Stanley and his wife Florence of Leesburg, FL, Donald F. Stanley of Freedom, NH, Susan M. Millette and her husband Raymond and Virginia C. Stanley all of Chelmsford; grandmother of Laura Stanley, Robin Kerr, Raymond Millette and Joseph Millette; great grandmother of Deandre, Vivica, Taylor and Olivia; and sister of William H. Sullivan of Naples, FL. And the late Howard A. Sullivan, Claire M. Reynolds, Milford Sullivan, Ralph Sullivan, Walter Sullivan, George Sullivan and Jean Sullivan.  She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 

            A Funeral Service will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald  Funeral Home in WATERTOWN SQUARE at 6 Riverside St.  (cnr.  of No. Beacon St.) Watertown on Friday at 1:00 P.M.  Visitation will be held the hour before at 12:00 Noon.
