A Funeral Mass for Agnes L. McFarlin will be celebrated on Saturday May 11th, 2019 at 11:00 am, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
A daughter of the late William & Gertrude (McDonnell) McFarlin, Agnes passed away Sunday evening. She was 82.
Agnes was born in and raised in Allston and later in life moved to Watertown. She was a graduate of St. Columbkille High School in Brighton, St. Elizabeth Hospital’s Nursing School, and later received her Nurse Practitioner’s License from St. Joseph’s College in Maine. Agnes worked as a nurse and nurse practitioner in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton. Her passion in life was her family, especially her four nieces and nine great nieces & nephews.
She was the beloved daughter of the late William & Gertrude (McDonnell) McFarlin. Dear sister of Francis T. McFarlin & his wife Mary of Watertown. Loving aunt of Maura Gallagher & her husband Raymond of Watertown, Judith Cox & her husband Keith of Winchester, Jane Leo & her husband Christopher of Franklin, and Susanne Brueggeman & her husband James of Watertown. Caring great-aunt to Owen Gallagher, Declan Gallagher, Madeleine Cox, Hannah Cox, Lilliana Cox, Elizabeth Leo, Bridget Leo, William Brueggeman, and Timothy Brueggeman.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. 11:00 at AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
