Barbara A. (Long) Tobin

A Funeral Mass for Barbara A. Tobin-Koumjian (Long) will be celebrated on Friday morning at 9:00 am in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.

Mrs. Tobin, a daughter of the late William J. and Ivy (Eden) Long passed away in the St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Brighton on September 20, 2017, after a period of declining health. She was 90.

Barbara had worked as a secretary for the Watertown Public Schools. She was a member of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians in Watertown and the National Association of Retired Railroad Workers, Boston, MA.

She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. Koumjian and Stephan T. Tobin. Devoted mother of Paul J. Koumjian of Larue, TX and Neal C. Koumjian of Cambridge. Dear sister of Richard E. (Bill) Long of Edmonton, Canada. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy Tobin of CA, Cedes Tobin of Glace Bay Nova Scotia, the late Mary (Tobin) Sinclair of Bedford. Also sister-in-law of John and Mary Koumjian, Ralph and Marian Koumjian, and Alice (Koumjian) Millian all of Watertown. Loving aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Funeral from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown on Friday Sept. 29, at 8:00 AM, followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Visiting hours Thursday from 6-8 PM.
