Doris A. (Ryan) Robinson

Funeral Services for Doris Aileen (Ryan) Robinson will be celebrated in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown on Tuesday July 30th, 2019 at 10 am.

Mrs. Robinson was a daughter of the late Danford and Catherine (MacKinnon) Ryan. Born in Cambridge, MA, Doris spent her entire life here in Watertown. She passed away on Thursday evening in the Meadow Green Nursing Facility, Waltham after some time of failing health. She was 91.

Doris attended Watertown schools, graduating from Watertown High School, class of 1945.  Doris worked as a clerk for New England Telephone Company.  She loved spending time at her Newfound Lake Home in New Hampshire. She enjoyed skiing, skating, swimming and boating. Mostly, her best times were spent with family.

She was the beloved wife for 53 years the late Robert E. Robinson, who died in the year 2000. Loving mother of Scott B. Robinson & his wife Patty, Susan L. Green & her husband Peter, Mark D. Robinson all of Watertown, and Linda G. Higgins & her husband Leo of Salem. Loving grandmother of Gerald, Hannah, Morgan, Kellie-Ann, Samantha, Mark & his wife Jessica, Renee & her husband Daniel, Kyle, and Kendall. Caring great-grandmother of Autumn, Mark, Tatum, and Victor.

A Funeral Service will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. Watertown on Tuesday July 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Relatives & friends kindly invited. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.

Visiting hours Monday from 4-7 PM.
