A Funeral Mass for Gail Rose Zaccagnini will be celebrated on Tuesday April 17th, 2017 at 9 am, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
A daughter of the late Daniel and Christine (DeLuca) Zaccagnini. Gail passed away Friday morning in Worcester. She was 69.
Gail was born in Brookline and raised in Watertown. She was a graduate of Watertown High School class of 1966. She worked as a cashier in Shaw’s Supermarket in Belmont; Gail loved interacting with her customers in line. Her lines would often be the longest in the Shaw’s because people went out of their way just to see Gail. She had a strong affinity for cats, the color purple, word search puzzles, cooking for company, and being at the beach in Marshfield with her father. But her biggest passion was the relationship with her beloved nieces and nephews.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel & Christine (DeLuca) Zaccagnini. Dear sister of Daniel P. Zaccagnini & his wife Gloria of Marshfield and Diane T. Merullo & her husband Carmen of Texas. Loving aunt of Marie Zaccagnini of Brighton, Michael Zaccagnini & his wife Cathendy of Sudbury, & David Zaccagnini of Haverhill, Christine Thompson & her husband Brett, and Jennifer Krentzin and her husband Tony both of Texas. Loving great-aunt of Asante and Ayden Zaccagnini, Blake and Alex Thompson, & Jordan and Anthony Krentzin.
