Martina Marie (McEvoy) Lehoux

Martina (McEvoy) Lehoux passed away October 31, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Martina was born in Watertown, MA. She was the daughter of Barbara McEvoy and the late Stephen McEvoy. She was raised in Somerville, MA., along with her siblings Julie, Stephen and Patricia. In 1977, they moved to Watertown, MA. She attended Watertown Schools and graduated high school in 1988 from Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School, (Lexington, MA).

Martina was married in October 1997 to David Lehoux. Martina and David lived in Watertown and in 2007 gave birth to their only child, Jillian. They moved to Haverhill, MA in 2016. She was employed at CVS for 17 years working at their store at the CambridgeSide Mall in Cambridge.  She received the employee of the year award in 2015.

Martina was happiest while working, spending time with family and camping. She is an avid camper and has spent most summers with friends and family at the Ferndale Acres campground in NH.

Martina is survived by her husband David, daughter Jillian Lehoux, her mother Barbara (Walsh) McEvoy, sisters Julie McEvoy, and Patricia (McEvoy) Demoor, her brother Stephen McEvoy and many nieces and nephews.

The Lehoux and McEvoy family extends their deepest appreciation to the dedicated staff of the Mount Auburn Hospital Oncology Unit and the Care Dimensions Division of Hospice, for their expert and compassionate care provided to Martina.

Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday November 4, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass for Martina will take place on Monday November 5, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Church of St. Luke 132 Lexington Street Belmont, Massachusetts 02478. Immediately following the Mass, Martina's burial will take place in St Patrick's Cemetery 999 Belmont Street Watertown, Massachusetts 02472
