A Funeral Mass for Patricia Anne (Horrigan) Uva will be celebrated on Thursday March 7th, 2019 at 11:00 am, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
A daughter of the late David A. Horrigan and Mildred A. (Main) Horrigan, Patricia passed away surrounded by her family Friday morning. She was 93. She was a devoted parishioner of Saint Patrick Parish in Watertown, were she taught CCD.
Patricia was born in St. Margaret Hospital in Boston. She was raised in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School Class of 1943. Patricia and her late husband Joseph raised their five children in Watertown. She was always involved in the upbringing of her five children, whether it was teaching CCD at St. Patrick or being a girl scout troop leader, she was always their for her family. Patricia loved to watch the Boston Red Sox and her favorite player was Ted Williams.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Ambrose Uva. Devoted mother of Joseph J. Uva of Watertown, Robert P. Uva & his wife Maria of Oregon, Mary E. Schmitt & her husband David of Stow, Virginia A. Sargent & her husband Scott of NH, and William Uva & his late wife Nancy of Belmont. Dear sister of Elizabeth Murphy of Brockton and the late Charles Horrigan, Richard Horrigan, Joan Hackenjos, & Mildred McRae. Loving grandmother of David Kelly, Laura Gjerman-Uva, Kenneth, Joseph, James & John Uva, and Victoria & Jessica Sargent. Loving great-grandmother of Cordelia, Brooklyn, & Aubrey Uva and Pierce Kelly. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday, March 7th, 2019, from 9:30 – 10:45 AM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. Watertown at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
