Peter George Anastos, Jr. of Brighton died suddenly on July 23, 2017. He was 53.
Born in Brighton on December 7, 1963, he is survived by his father and mother, Peter G. Anastos and Clara (Terzis) Anastos, his loving brothers, Stephen P. Anastos of Brighton, Alex Anastos and his wife Zelda, and was the devoted uncle to their children Sienna Cleopatra, Zoë Florita, and Alexander Anthony of Vista, California. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, and many loving friends.
Peter was a graduate of Don Bosco Technical High School, where he enjoyed and studied offset printing. An athlete, he excelled at hockey, golf, and baseball. Peter worked at Turner Fisheries Fish Processing in Boston and later as a cook at Legal Seafoods in Chestnut Hill. In addition, he worked in the retail store at Captain Marden’s. He retired due to a disability.
Peter was a compassionate friend to all and always loved to have fun. His infectious smile and beautiful spirit will be missed by all and remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again my beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Visiting hours on Sunday, July 30th, 2017 from 3 to 7 PM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. (Route 20) Watertown. Words of Remembrance will follow by family and friends.
