Theresa Mary (Tamburo) LaMattina

A Funeral Mass for Theresa Mary LaMattina (Tamburo) will be celebrated on Thursday 1st, 2018 at 11:00 am, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.

A daughter of the late Oreste Tamburo and Mary Monica (Centola) Tamburo.  Theresa passed away Monday evening in Melrose after a period of declining health. She was 86.

Theresa was born and raised in Brighton, and a proud graduate of Brighton High School.  In 1965, Theresa married her husband Carlo S.F. LaMattina.  The two of them were happily married for 47 years.

She was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick Parish, enjoyed her vacations in Ogunquit on the coast of Maine, and an active participant in a card club she had with her good friends. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Carlo S.F. LaMattina.  Dear sister of Joanne DiFiore & her husband Herbert of South Dennis, John Tamburo of Hopkinton, and the late Elizabeth DiSanzo & her late husband Anthony. Also survived by many nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, March 1st, 2018, from 9:30 – 10:30 am in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery.
