Adolfo was born in Argentina to the late Alberto and Annina (Caso) Capone.  He passed away after a brief illness on March 4, 2026 in Boston. He was 71.

Adolfo spent his childhood in Argentina and moved to Watertown, MA as a teenager where he was an avid chess player and opened his first business.  He met his wife, Rose, in high school.  They were together for over fifty years and lovingly raised three children.   Adolfo found great joy in work and providing for his family.  Throughout his career, Adolfo owned many culinary establishments including pizza, pasta and sub restaurants, a brewery, cheese and pizza factories, and a family entertainment center.   Al Capone’s was one of the long-standing popular eateries that he and his wife, Rose, owned in downtown Boston.   He befriended many of his loyal customers and employees.

Adolfo loved to fish, savor fine restaurants, drive, and spend time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed building, restoring and repairing cars, restaurant equipment, and houses. He was dedicated to helping his family and was incredibly dependable.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Lillian (Lapietro) Capone.  Loving father of Christina Capone & her husband Josef Ewert of Florida, Amanda Capone & her husband Omar Emran of Waltham, and Mark Capone & his partner Lauren Taylor of Washington.  Dear brother of Maria “Gina” Calidonna of Watertown, and Albert & his wife Mary of Lincoln.  Loving grandfather of Josef, Bennett, Anthony, Alexander, Nadia, Aliya, Vincent, and Tamaara.  He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces & nephews.
