Agnes M. "Nancy" Currie

Agnes M “Nancy” Currie passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age 99.  Beloved daughter of the late James and Agnes (Bowie) Currie, sister of the late Mary Currie, life-long Cambridge resident, graduate of the Cambridge High and Latin School, Mt. Ida Junior College and the Boston Dispensary School of Medical Technology.  Former Chief Lab Tech at Boston Lying In Hospital, subsequently became Assistant Secretary and Assistant Chief Underwriter at Massachusetts Indemnity and Life Insurance Company and later Assistant Vice President and Chief Underwriter at Massachusetts Casualty Insurance Company.  Also, she served as organist for 25 years at churches in Medford and Somerville.  Nancy leaves no immediate family; however, she is survived by good friends Peg and Ed Beucler and their family.
