A visitation for Alexander J. “Buddy” MacDonald of Watertown will be held on Saturday April 6, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home.
Mr. MacDonald was born in Inverness, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Alexander J. & Mary Catherine (MacIsaac) MacDonald. Buddy passed away on Sunday March 31, 2024. He was 73.
Alexander who most knew as “Buddy” was a United States Army veteran who loved to take trips to Canada to his hometown Inverness, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia any chance he had. Buddy always enjoyed watching the Boston’s sports teams. You could always find him at the Canadian America Club. Bud loved listening to music and never gave up a chance to dance. He was always taking beautiful pictures of sunset and family.
But most of all his granddaughter brought the most joy to Bud’s life. That little girl was the light in his eyes.
He was the devoted husband of Carol B. (Manfredi) MacDonald. Loving father of Keith Alexander MacDonald & his spouse Courtney Glovinski of Essex. Dear brother of Allan MacDonald of Burlington, Patricia Marks of Bedford, Anne Stoupkis of Inverness, and Elaine MacDonald Manfredi of Salisbury. Loving grandfather of Bristol Chase-MacDonald and Gunnar Glovinski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
