A Funeral Mass for Alfred C. “Al” Gasper will be celebrated on Tuesday August 3, 2021 at 10:00 am, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
A son of the late Manuel Gasper and Mary (Olivera) Gasper, Al passed away peacefully at his home with his wife Susan by his side.
Mr. Gasper was an active alumnus for Perkins School for the Blind for many years and enjoyed doing radio shows and podcasts there. Al also loved his sports, particularly his two favorite teams the Chicago White Sox and the Atlanta Braves. He will be laid to rest on Tuesday August 3rd at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown with his first wife of 37 years and mother of their two children, Kathleen Gasper.
He was the beloved husband of Susan J. (Wehr) Dewolf & the late Kathleen V. (Mahoney) Gasper. Loving father of Eric A. Gasper of Watertown and Elaine J. Schworm & her husband Daniel of St. Petersburg, FL. Also survived by Susan’s children: Michelle Ricker, Michael & Mark Dewolf all of Chicopee, dear family in Taunton, & many friends.
Funeral from the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown Tuesday August 3, 2021, at 9:00 AM followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM.
Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown.
