Annabelle M. Engeian

A funeral liturgy for Annabelle M. Engeian will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church, 200 Lexington St. Belmont.

Annabelle was the beloved daughter of the late Mary F. (Ferahian) Engeian. She passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026. She was 97 years old.

Born in Boston and raised in Watertown, Annabelle spent many years working as a secretary to the Vice President of John Hancock in Boston. Her faith was central to her life, and she was a devoted member of Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church, where she generously gave her time and energy in service to the church.

She was the loving sister of the late Dorothy “Rose” & her husband Hagop “Jack” Hagopian and Peter Engeian & his wife Margaret. Beloved aunt of Steven P. Hagopian & his wife Judy, Robert M. Hagopian & his wife Diane, and Richard E. Hagopian & his wife Christine. Devoted great-aunt of Nichole Hagopian, Michael Hagopian & his wife Danaea, Lucas Hagopian & his wife Tara, Lindsay Hagopian, Alexandra Hagopian, Zachary Hagopian & his wife Jessica, Paige & her husband Tanner Meyer-Wright, Andrew Hagopian and John Hagopian. Caring great-great-aunt of Sophia, Stella, Everly, Capri, Oakley, Sterling and Delilah.

A visitation will be held on Friday Jan. 23, from 10 AM to 11 AM in the Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church, 200 Lexington St. Belmont followed by Funeral Liturgy at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Her Memorial Mass will be held Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church in Belmont
