Age 92, of Watertown. March 25, 2025. Devoted and Loving Wife, Mother, & Grandmother. Daughter of the late Nicola & Maria Appugliese. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Ernesto Berardinelli. Adoring mother to Ernesto A., Jr. (James Meacham) of Watertown, Marie Elizabeth (Jean-Marie) of Wells, Maine, & John G. of Watertown. Loving Nana to Gabriella Marie Berardinelli-Allain. Sister of Mary Appugliese of Georgia, Nicholas Anthony (Paula) of California, & the late Antonietta Lupo (Joseph). Survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces & nephews, and great grandnieces & nephews.

A lifelong resident of Watertown, Carmela was born in Isernia, Italy. Carmela was a master cook where cooking was an art and passion, and where enough food was never enough. A woman of wisdom and counsel to all, a woman of humility and prayer.

Funeral from the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown Monday March 31, at 9 AM followed by Funeral in the Church of St. Patrick 212 Main St., Watertown at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 PM. Entombment Mount Auburn Cemetery.
