A visitation for Carol A. (Eriksen) Fleming will be celebrated on Friday November 27, 2020 in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown from 4 to 7 PM.
Carol was the daughter of the late Franklin Joseph Eriksen and Grace Margaret (Warren) Eriksen. Mrs. Fleming passed away Tuesday afternoon on November 24, 2020. She was 79.
Carol grew up in Somerville and was a parishioner of St. Theresa Church. She attended St. Theresa’s for grammar school and later went on to St. John’s (North Cambridge Catholic) for high school. She worked as an accounting clerk for the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, dedicating over 25 years of faithful service to Perkins.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Fleming (d. 1991). Devoted mother of Patrick and his wife Cheryl, Christopher and his wife Christen, Sean and his wife Lorraine, and Matthew Fleming. Loving nana of Taylor, Caitlin, Molly, Liam, Catherine, and Caroline Fleming. Dear sister of Robert J. Eriksen, Marion “Mimi” Lawson, Edward E. Erikson, and Mary B. Sullivan. Caring aunt of several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visiting hours in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home 270 Main St. Watertown Friday November 27th from 4-7 pm. Those over 60 & those with underlying health conditions may visit between 4-5 pm, all others are invited to attend between 5-7 pm. Due to the current precautions surrounding Covid-19, please abide by the social distancing guidelines and wear a mask. A graveside service will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown on Saturday Nov. 28th at 12 Noon.
