TOLAN, Edward Charles. of Watertown, May 6, 2023. Age 90. Beloved husband of the late Mary Margaret (Brennan) Tolan. Loving father of Mary Rudser of Winthrop, Edward Tolan, Jr. & his wife Judy of Billerica, Joseph Tolan & his wife Kathryn of Belmont, Ann Lampasona & her husband Anthony, Jane Monahan & her husband Sean, and John Tolan & his wife Suzanne all of Watertown. Dear brother of the late John J. Tolan, Jr. & Mary E. LeConti. Loving grandfather of Emma & Matthew Rudser, Jillian, Bobby & Allie Tolan, Mary, Daniel, & Annie Tolan, Jessica Machado & her husband John, Sarah, Olivia, & Anthony Lampasona, and Jake & Ellie Monahan. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. US Navy Veteran, Korea. Retired letter carrier, USPS. Member of KOC Council 155 & AOH Div. 14. Former Athletic Director of St. Patrick High School. Lifelong Celtics fan, Ed attended their 1st game on Nov. 2, 1946.
A visitation will be held Tuesday May 16, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. Watertown at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
