Eva Lynn Watson

A Funeral service for Eva Lynn Watson will be held on Saturday October 26, 2024, at 11 AM in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 9 Russell Ave. Watertown.

Eva Lynn Watson Migliozzi, age 70, passed away on October 6th, 2024, in Watertown, Massachusetts. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was a long-term resident of Watertown, Massachusetts. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 37 years. Jeffrey “Jeff” Migliozzi and her daughter Maggie Migliozzi, as well as her sister Greta, brother Robert Watson, her sister-in-law Sheila Sims Watson and their children Nile and Sky.

Eva was known for her lifelong love of animals, particularly frogs, a love which she passed onto her daughter.  In her last few months Eva was excited to watch shark week and to view the Olympics.  She loved logic problems, budgeting, researching genealogy, true crime stories and horror movies.  She kept up with politics up until her death by watching the news and reading Time Magazine.  She was devoted to several different NGOs and charities such as 'Doctors Without Borders,' 'Boston Children's Hospital,' and the 'Humane Society.

She is preceded in death by her parents Margaretta and Harold Watson. Eva went to high school at the Bergen School in Jersey City and attended several college courses. After marrying Jeff and moving to Watertown, Eva worked at the Green Street House of Perkins School for the blind until the birth of their daughter. She befriended many people in need and was a stalwart friend. She was a person with a very logical mind and artistic talent. Eva was good at money management, and a wizard at grocery couponing. She was a regular member of Church of the Good Shepherd until health issues forced her to remain at home. She will be sorely missed.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service at Church of the Good Shepherd, 9 Russell Ave. Watertown at 11 AM on Saturday October 26th.
