Gail Corrigan of Watertown, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters and granddaughter on October 9, 2025. Born in Haverhill, MA, to the late Curtis and Lucinda (Regan) Oliver, Gail grew up in West Medford, MA, and attended Cambridge Matignon School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Regis College and a master’s degree from Boston College.
A dedicated LICSW, Gail worked as an advocate and therapist in both public and private sectors. She was a passionate lover of life, an avid reader, and an enthusiastic bridge player.
Gail was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Corrigan; loving mother of Laura Corrigan of Newton and Alison Farkas and her husband Matthew of Longmeadow; dearest sister to Barbara Reynolds and her husband George of Ohio, and the late John Oliver and his late wife Clare of New Hampshire; and cherished grandmother to Layla Corrigan, William, and Luke Farkas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St. Peter, 100 Concord Ave, Cambridge, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11 AM, followed by a celebration of life. Visiting hours are Friday, October 17, from 3-6 PM at MacDonald Rockwell Funeral Home, 270 Main St, Watertown. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
