John Doucette Obituary

On August 17, 2022, John Doucette passed away peacefully in Pooler GA at the age of 90.

John is survived by his children Kevin, Brian, Beth, Julie, and Jack, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Joan (nee Donahue) and second wife Patricia (nee O’Leary).

John was born on May 9th, 1932 in Arlington MA. He graduated from Matignon High School and Boston College, and was a long-time resident of Bedford MA and later, Acton MA. He was a loyal supporter of Matignon and Boston College hockey, and a long suffering Red Sox fan who was happy he lived at least until 2004, and much beyond.

John spent his final years at the Savannah Legacy Memory Care Center in Pooler GA making new friends and acquaintances and enjoying the warm winter weather. He especially enjoyed watching re-runs of old Patriots and Boston College football games, amazed that Tom Brady and Doug Flutie were both still playing.
Burial was private.
