Reverend Colonel John Paul Pirolli of Acton July 30, 2020. Age 70. Loving father of John M. Pirolli of Acton. Beloved son of the late Michael J. & Yolanda F. (Corsi) Pirolli. Dear brother of Michael P. & his wife Judith of Newton and Robert A. & his wife Susanne of Wareham. Caring uncle of Sarah Magararu & her husband Alex, Cassandra Jannoni & her husband Mark, & Lee Haley & her husband George.
My dad was a poet, a priest, a performer and a traveler. He was a magician, he was a a hippie, he filled the room with himself anytime he walked into it. He was in a lot of pain, deep pain for most of his life. He helped so many people, housed the homeless and fed the hungry. He wanted to build a church, and that's what I aim to do for him.
He went by the title Reverend Colonel John Paul Pirolli, magical title of Daemon Magus, nickname of Buddah given to him by Janis Joplin at Woodstock, and frick the wonder buffalo which he used for a short time on Cambridge television, he would want it mentioned for fun at the very least.
He never served in the military, he is a Kentucky Colonel for saving a man's life.
A graveside service will be held at Newton Cemetery 791 Walnut St. Newton MA on Wednesday August 5th at 12 Noon.
