John Joseph Trischitta, Jr

John Joseph Trischitta Jr., 93, of Wakefield formerly of Belmont passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday May 13th, 2023. John was born November 17th, 1929, in Brighton to the late John and Clara Trischitta. He grew up in Cambridge with his parents and brother Donald. He enlisted in the Marines in November of 1946 until November of 1951. After the Marines he entered the Belmont Police Academy.

He met his wife Patricia (Walsh) Trischitta in 1955 and they made their home in Belmont MA. They had three wonderful children Judy Kelley (Brian Fenochietti) of Wakefield, Michael Trischitta (Patricia) of Westford, and David Trischitta (Christine) of Belmont. He leaves behind eight grandchildren, Kevin, Keri, Caitlin, Colleen, Melanie, Nicholas, Jessica, and Monica. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren Dylan, Abigail, Grace, Jason, Avery, Emerson, Brayden, and Ryann.

Funeral from the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown Thursday May 18, at 9 AM followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Joseph 130 Common St., Belmont at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 PM.
