Joseph C. Webb

A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph C. “Joe” Webb will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, Watertown.

Mr. Webb was born in Cambridge to the late Joseph C. & Alice M. (Lefevre) Webb. Joe passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025.

Joe grew up in Watertown, having graduated from Watertown High School, and served as a Private First Class in the United States Army.  After raising his family in Bedford, he relocated to his second home of North Conway, NH. He had been the proprietor of Belmont Seat Cover, his son proudly continuing the family business as Joe then established Conway Seat Cover in NH.

In North Conway, he had been a co-founder of the Whis-Skiers Ski Club and the Wentworth Turtles Golf League. He worked as a golf ranger at North Conway Country Club and as a ski instructor at Attitash Mountain. Joe enjoyed various sports including fishing, waterskiing, tennis, golf, and downhill skiing/racing. Through these activities and others, he made numerous friendships, many lasting throughout his life. He traveled extensively and loved to spend time with his friends, family, his life partner and her extended family.

Joe was the loving father of Sharon M. McDowell & her husband, Brian, of Hudson, NH; Francine Silva of Hudson, NH; Robert J. Webb & his wife, Jill, of Walpole, and Denise H. Webb & her life partner, Keith Brammer, of Billerica. Beloved life partner & best friend of 39 years to Karen Lyons of Milton.  Dear brother of Patricia A. Webb of Watertown and the late Robert F. Webb. Loving grandfather of Michael, Jennifer, Jonathan, Allison, Lindsay, Justin, & Emma. Doting great-grandfather of Angelina, Gavin, Jackson, & Grace. Former husband of Lorraine J. (Iodice) Webb.

Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., Watertown, on Thursday, February 20th, from 4-7 PM. Funeral from the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home on Friday, February 21st, at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in the Church at St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment at St. Patrick Cemetery. Additionally, a celebration of Joe's life will be held in North Conway, NH in the Spring of 2025.
