Julia Ann (Wade) Goodrow

Goodrow, Julia Ann (Wade). 

Sunrise: December 22, 1927, Sunset: January 23, 2021. 

Peacefully at her home in Franklin.  Born to the late Julia (Coffee) Wade and John Wade.  Predeceased by seven siblings (Mary, John, Rita, William, Sr., William, Jr., Cecilia, and Elizabeth) and survived by her brother Paul Wade.  Julia and her loving husband, Albert A. Goodrow, were joined in Holy Matrimony for 72 years before his death in 2019.  Julia was blessed to be a devoted mother of six children (Albert, Judy, Heather, Patti, Rosemary, and David her devoted caregiver for many, many years).  The Blessings continued with 16 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. 

After raising her children, Julia began a successful career as a real estate broker, eventually owning her own real estate business in Needham.  She also owned an antique and used furniture business in Needham.  Julia was always available to help her children and care for her grandchildren. 

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Wed. January 27, from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown. A private Funeral Mass will be held in St. Jude Church, Waltham.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you contact the Divine Mercy Shrine in Stockbridge, Massachusetts and request that a Catholic Mass be celebrated for the repose of Julia’s precious soul (www.shrineofdivinemercy.org/mass or 1-800-462-7426.  Bless you for your great act of Mercy.
