Lois Ethel (Murphy) Sieks

SIEKS, Lois Ethel (Murphy) of Dover, NH, formerly of Belmont, March 20, 2023. Age 81. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late James August Sieks. Loving mother of David Sieks & his wife Christine of Dover, NH, and Amy Sieks of Belmont. Loving grandmother of Declan & Finnean Sieks. Dear sister of Jean Kass & her husband Keith of Pleasanton, CA, and Don Murphy & his wife Donna of Salida, CA.

Lois grew up in Dorchester and in high school was awarded “Woman of the Future” by Mayor Hynes for her excellent scholastic record and achievements. A graduate of Bridgewater State Teachers College, Lois worked for many years at Harvard University Alumni Records and loved to travel, read, knit, quilt, bake, laugh with her siblings and spend time with her grandsons.

Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., Watertown on Friday March 24th, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment at Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont.
