Loretta A. (Minerella) Anderson of Watertown passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2024, at the age of 89. Loretta was born in Boston to the late Benjamin and Palma (Mancini) Minerella.
Loretta grew up in Allston Ma and graduated from Brighton High in 1952. She worked in administration for several electronics companies. She was a lifelong reader and loved walking especially near the Charles River. She was interested in women’s causes and helping children. Loretta loved music especially Broadway Musicals and would get everyone to sing along to showtunes. She was proud of her Italian heritage, and it showed in her cooking. Most of her favorite times were simple get togethers with family and friends. She had a large extended family; being the second mother and grandmother to many.
She was the wife of the late Lawrence B. Anderson, Sr. Loving mother of Lawrence “Larry” Anderson, Jr. & his wife Bonnie of Watertown and Stephen M. Anderson & his wife Patricia of Watertown. Devoted sister of Rosemarie Richardson, Joanne Morrison, Robert Minerella, and the late Billy Minerella and Regina Bergin. Loving grandmother of Chloe Kelland & her husband Robert and Cameron Anderson and his girlfriend Kasey Kenyon. Also survived by Sister in Laws Helen Minerella and Mary Louise Anderson as well as many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services for Loretta will be held privately.
