Marie T. Corbett

Marie T. Corbett of Watertown died on June 26, 2022, age of 93.

The daughter of Dennis and Mary Corbett, she was predeceased by her brothers John and William and sister Barbara. She leaves her eight nephews, Peter, Stephen, David, Philip, Timothy, William, Paul, and David, and one niece, MaryBeth, and their families.

Marie was a lifelong resident of Watertown and a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. She was a long-time employee of the Union Market National Bank and its successors. Marie was a faithful parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church and a member of the Lady’s Sodality. She was a champion bowler in the St. Patrick’s League and an avid golfer. She enjoyed many years of traveling and keeping up with her friends and annual vacations with her family in Marshfield. Having lived the first 87 years of her life at the family home on Highland Avenue, she very much enjoyed the last six years with her ‘adopted’ family at the Brigham House in Watertown. She couldn’t get over the fact that there were two choices at every meal and bingo games every day!

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday July 5, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Church, Watertown, followed by a burial service in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
