Mary L. (O'Brien) Johnson

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary L. (O’Brien) Johnson will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick Church, Watertown.

Mary was born in Boston to the late Richard & Margaret (Coen) O’Brien. Her biological mother, Margaret, passed away shortly after her birth. She was raised in Watertown by her parents Richard & Mabel O’Brien.  She passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 25, 2025 at the age of 93.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard T. Johnson. Loving mother of Deborah A. Johnson of Watertown, Richard T. Johnson, Jr. & his wife Susanne of Sudbury, Robert M. Johnson & his wife Joanna of Watertown, and Thomas M. Johnson & his wife Maureen of Billerica. Dear sister, of her twin, the late Alice Reardon, (and her late husband Edward) and the late Richard O’Brien (and his late wife Irene). Loving grandmother of Gregory & his fiancé Katherine Carlson, Bryan, Shannon, Matthew & his fiancé Taylor Welch, Kayla, Olivia, Callahan, and Kelsey Johnson. Also survived by many nieces & nephews, whom she shares special relationships.

Funeral from the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown Thursday May 29, at 9 AM followed by Funeral in the Church of St. Patrick 212 Main St., Watertown at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 PM. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown.
