Mary L. (Donovan) Kelly

A Funeral Mass for Mary L. (Donovan) Kelly will be celebrated on Thursday December 29, 2022, at 10:00 am, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.

A daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Flynn) Donovan, Mary passed away on Saturday December 24 at her home in Scituate.  She was 87.

Mary was born in Brighton and was a longtime resident of Watertown before moving to Scituate in the early 2000s.  She graduated from St. Patrick High School in Watertown. Mary worked diligently as an employee of BayBank in Watertown.

On June 11, 1955, Mary married the love of her life, Paul Francis Kelly at St. Patrick Church in Watertown. Mary & Paul raised their six children: Patricia, Donna, Paul, Maureen, Daniel, and Michael in Watertown. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Kelly. Devoted mother of Patricia K. Diliberto & her husband John of Watertown, Donna M. McManus & her husband Kevin of Watertown, Paul F. Kelly & his wife Deborah of Watertown, Maureen Kelly & her partner Paul Trayers of Scituate, Daniel E. Kelly & his wife Kathleen of Billerica and the late Michael V. Kelly. Dear sister of Claire Rooney of Medford and the late Kathleen Usseglio & Joan Manning. Loving grandmother of Shannon, Caila, Jack, Heather, Daniel, Meaghan, Desiree, Kevin, Michael, Kelly, and Devyn.  Loving great-grandmother of Caden, Liam, Elvis, Violet, Billy, Olivia, Kevin, and James Michael.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday December 29, 2022, in St. Patrick Church, 212 Main St., Watertown at 10 AM. Please go directly to church.

Interment St. Patrick Cemetery Watertown.
