Nancy Ann (DeLong) Blickenstaff

Nancy Ann (DeLong) of Maynard formerly of Watertown, passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 81.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Jeanette (Lopez) DeStasio. Loving mother of Stephen “Jimmy” DeLong, Joseph DeLong, and the late John Blickenstaff & his survived wife Bourchra.  Loving sister of Deborah J. Byrne & her husband James of Waltham. Loving grandmother of Justine Geary, and Ariel DeLong. Caring great-grandmother of Alani, Shane, and Dominic.

Nancy was a graduate of Watertown High School. She worked diligently as a telephone operator for Waltham Hospital. Nancy had a love for animals and was an advocate for the prevention of cruelty to animals and very active in the MSPCA.

Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., Watertown on Tuesday December 13, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
