Olgo A. Russo, Jr.

A funeral service for Olgo A. Russo, Jr. will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 7 PM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. Watertown.

Olgo was born in Cambridge to the late Olgo A. & Eleanor K. (Matthews) Russo.  He passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2026. He was 80.

Olgo proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 11 years during the Vietnam era. During his military career, he was stationed in Japan and Thailand and was honored to be recognized as an honorary member of the USAF Thunderbirds.

As a young man, Olgo was captivated by aviation and cherished every aspect of the open skies.". He was also a passionate golfer, avid motorcyclist, talented cook, and supporter of the Perkins School for the Blind, where he served as a member of the Board. He treasured the years he spent living in Hawaii.
He was the beloved father of Mark D. Russo & his wife Vivian of Waltham, Philip Ian Russo of Natick, and Dorinda Bei C. Russo of Natick. Loving grandfather of Finn Russo of Bedford. Dear brother of Michael A. Russo of Southborough and the late Philip L. Russo.

A visitation will take place from 4 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday June 30 in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. Watertown followed by a funeral service at 7 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
