Oliver Claus Steinbach

Dr. Oliver Steinbach, son, father, partner, friend, and extraordinary human being passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2022, at the age of 54. He was the devoted son of Guenther and the late Helga Steinbach, loving father of Delia Steinbach, and caring partner of Grace Zhu.

Oliver was a brilliant scientist who dedicated his professional life to conduct, promote, and manage research that aims at improving people’s health. He was exceptional in many ways, in major part because he lived up to the extremely high standards that he set himself in all aspects of his life. In doing so, he motivated and mentored others around him to follow suit.

He will be deeply missed! He will be remembered! His spirit, kindness, and accomplishments will live on and continue to inspire us.

Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., Watertown on Saturday November 12, 2022, from 12:30 PM to 2 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2 PM.
