Mary Patricia "Tricia" Fallon, 92, of Belmont, MA, died on July 26, 2025, from complications of advanced dementia. Tricia was born in Boston and grew up in a tight-knit Irish-American family inBelmont. She graduated from Regis College in Weston, MA in 1955. She then pursued a career in education, first as a home economics teacher in Watertown, MA and later as a guidance counselor at Arlington High School in Arlington, MA. In the 1980s, she furthered her education in religious studies at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, MA.
Tricia lived her whole life in the Boston area, but she enjoyed traveling. She volunteered for several charities in Boston, including the Pine Street Inn. After her retirement, she became a docent at the McMullen Museum of Art at Boston College, a member of the St. Ignatius Church choir and a proctor for exams at Harvard Law School.
Tricia was an avid knitter and enjoyed listening to music. With her friends, she attended numerous sports and cultural events over the years at Boston College.
Beginning in the 1940s, Tricia and other family members spent many summers on Cape Cod. She was always very happy to spend time at Megansett and Old Silver beaches in N. Falmouth, reading romance and mystery novels and visiting with family and friends. Over the years, she hosted many family gatherings in Belmont and on the Cape.
Tricia was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas Fallon and Mary Veronica O’Donoghue Fallon, as well as by siblings William, Joseph and Richard. She is survived by her sister Wilma Fallon Lane and brother Kevin Fallon. She was devoted to her nieces and nephews: Maryrose Lane Grossman, William Lane, Brian Lane, Michael Fallon, David Fallon, Susan Fallon Thaxton, Joseph Fallon, Brian Fallon, Malcolm Fallon, Lara Fallon and the late Duncan Fallon and Lynn Fallon Boedeker. She rejoiced in her many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday September 18, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown, followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church at 770 Mt. Auburn St. Watertown at 10 AM, and then burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 999 Belmont St. in Watertown.
