Patricia "Pat" (Flannery) Flannery Gibson

Patricia "Pat" Flannery Gibson was born June 8, 1949, to the late William and Estelle Flannery in Boston, Massachusetts. She died March 18, 2023, in Joplin, Missouri.

Survived by husband and life-long partner, Chuck Gibson; son, John Flannery and wife Bonnie, of Tuftonboro, New Hampshire; brother, Joe Flannery and wife Carol of Mascoutah, Illinois; six nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Flannery of Mansfield, Massachusetts and David Flannery of Boston; two sisters, Mary Caira of Watertown, Massachusetts and Margaret Boyd of Boston.

Pat worked for over 33 years as the accountant, bookkeeper, party planner and heart of the computer services of The University of Massachusetts Boston Campus.

Her smile would light up a room. She loved all animals and had many fur babies she loved dearly.

She was forced to retire from The University due to the onset of illness in 2009.

A private interment took place in St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown.
