Peter J. White

A Mass of Christian Burial for Peter James White will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2024, at 12 Noon in St. Patrick Church, Watertown.

Mr. White was born in Boston to the late Rosario J. & Rose (Domenichello) White. Peter passed away on May 18, 2024, in Dover, New Hampshire.  He was 82.

Peter was a restaurateur for decades in the Boston area and beyond. The Boston Fish House in Newton and Pufferbellies on Cape Cod were just a few of the multiple restaurants he owned and operated. He enjoyed music, dancing and interacting with friends and family.

He was the beloved husband of the late Jeanne M. (Brasso) White. Loving father of Peter A. White & his wife Josee of Vermont and Kimberly J. White & her fiancé Robert Poirier of Hawaii. Dear brother of James P. White and Ralph J. White. Loving grandfather Eleanor White. Also survived by his beloved life partner Marilyn Jones of Kittery Maine, cousin Susan Wright Regan and several nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown followed by Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 212 Main St. Watertown at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery.
