FITZGERALD, Ruth J. (Walsh) of Belmont, December 22, 2023. Age 99. Beloved wife of the late Richard P. “Dick” Fitzgerald. Loving mother of James P. & his wife Jane of Belmont, Paula M. Ruggles & her husband Dan of Sunapee, NH, Thomas F. & his wife Patti of Melrose, & Mary Ruth Corbett & her husband Alex of Belmont. Loving grandmother of Ann Fitzgerald Brown, Karen Carabello, Lauren, Caren, & Thomas Ruggles, Katie Marshall, Tara Fitzgerald, Allie Weafer, Alex Corbett IV, Caitlin & Michael Corbett.
A visitation will be held Wednesday December 27, from 11 AM to 12:45 PM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. Watertown at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
